MINUTE OF THE OF PLENARY MEETING OF THE SENTENCE REVIEW COMMISSIONERS HELD ON 26 March 2010

1. The note and minute of the previous meeting were discussed and agreed.
2. A meeting will be arranged with the Policing and Justice Minister to address the Commissioners' concerns relating to damaging information after devolution and the General Election.
3. Succession planning was discussed in light of Sir John Blelloch's retirement.
4. The Policy on Review of cases was discussed and clarified.
5. The SRC Legal Aid Policy was amended and solicitors will now be asked to submit applications for extensions of hours in advance.
6. The current position of each case within the Sentence Review was discussed.
7. The next Plenary meeting will be held on 15 June 2010.
